COMMISSIONED WATERCOLORS Do you live by the sea, on a lake, or perhaps in the mountains with a spectacular view and wish to capture it forever on canvas? The artist accepts painting commissions for land or seascape subject matter that can be found in the locale where she will be traveling. All paintings are begun on location and completed in the artist’s studio. The following trips are planned for 2010:
To have Mary Anne quote your "spectacular view," please contact her at: mwehrend@landseascapesusa.com to make arrangements. The following will be necessary for consideration: 1. Photographs of proposed subject matter to determine whether the artist will accept the commission. Accessibility to subject matter is part of the consideration. 2. Commission costs: Small 11” x 15” matted = $600 and Medium 15” x 22” matted = $800. 3. Additional costs could
include transportation and/or lodging. 4. Timeline for completion of painting. 5.
A deposit of one half the painting price plus additional costs is due in
advance. The artist will e-mail the customer a photograph of the completed painting. Once
final payment is received the painting will be sent by UPS. 6. If the
customer is dissatisfied for any reason the
portion of the deposit for the painting will be returned, not the additional expenses. See examples below of previously commissioned
paintings!
